Northlake Tavern and Pizza House Review

I went to the Northlake Tavern and Pizza House yesterday and from what I've read it's the best pizza anywhere. So I came into the whole ordeal with high expectations. The wait time on the pizza was about 30 minutes. When the pepperoni pizza was served I was first struck on how heavy it was. The pizza was loaded with tons of pepperoni and cheese. The pepperoni at the Northlake Tavern and Pizza House is more like sliced sausage than the thin sliced pepperoni you're used to at chain pizza houses. It tastes spicy and delicious. The crust is thick yet flaky. I love their pizza, but I wouldn't say it's the best I've ever had. I'd give the pizza an 8.5 on the taste scale and a 10 on the portions scale. I'll definitely be back there some ordering one of their supreme pizzas. I'm all about toppings when it comes to pizzas. Chicago style all the way!
